Dinosaurs can't breath

According to the recent investigations from the USA Universities, dinosaurs the remains of which palaeontologists find died because of suffocation.

According to scientists the proof of this fact is the pose of the dinosaurs that were found by scientists. The remains are kept in the pose when the dinosaur had the widely opened mouth and the head was thrown back. These animals also had the back and the tail curved and the reduced legs.

Before such discovery, scientists considered that such unusual postures were connected with the fact that dinosaurs were dieing in the water and the flow of the river made these objects so unusual.

The new theory says that such unusual pose was taken by dinosaurs not after the death but during the death. According to doctors and veterinaries such postures are taken by animals when they die in the result of the brain injury that happens during suffocation. And the postures of these mammals coincide with the postures of the dinosaurs that turned into the stones. As the majority of them were found in the volcano dust, the reason for their suffocation could be the volcano eruption.

Scientists also consider that such postures are the evidence that dinosaurs were warm-blooded dinosaurs. The warm-blooded animals had the high metabolism and they took a lot of oxygen. That is why the lack of oxygen could lead to the damage of the nervous system and the catastrophic consequences. And when crocodiles and other lizards feel the lack of oxygen they don't have the similar reactions.

According to scientists new discovery will help to understand the environment of dinosaurs better as well as to reconstruct the conditions in which they died.
